Very good; women consider going down a size , designed for wider male feet
"These are great to use although I think they are designed for male feet which are a bit wider than female. Women might need to go smaller eg if you’re between a 6 and 7 UK, go for a 6. The wool felt rough to the hand but v comfortable and breathable once on. I used them inside my steel toe capped paramedic boots for 12 hour shifts, and for casual hiking and they feel great. I’ve got rid of my synthetic socks which promoted foot odour /bacteria; my feet don’t smell at all now."

Comfortable sock for motorcycling or in a walking boot
"Not overly bulky so boot fit should be ok, but nice warm feet and no sweat when the going gets warmer. Seams nice and flat so no pressure points, and reinforcing in the toe, top of foot and heal so should wear well."

"I bought these socks for a hiking holiday in New Zealand. I developed blisters in the heat before the hike when wearing synthetic socks and trainers. I switched to these socks, animal wool and walking boots... Wonderful cushioning... Pain gone.... Healing began. I am so glad I bought them. I'm size 5.5/6 and bought small. I thought they are a generous size but they we're perfect."

"I am a gardener and on my feet 10hrs plus a day so looking for socks that wear and are comfortable and these fit the bill exactly. Great socks that I have worn 3 days in a row and they still feel good with no odour so I have bought 5 more pairs. Its taken years to find decent socks and these are them - great value."
